Located in a pastoral setting in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Pennsylvania, Stoney Brook is very close to Gettysburg and a host of interesting activities.
Civil War buffs can explore not only Gettysburg but also Antietam and Harper's Ferry. Enjoy ever-popular outlet shopping or prowl for antiques. The Carroll Valley Golf Resort and Mountain View Golf Course are nearby. Ski Liberty is just around the corner, with activities in all seasons. And if complete tranquility is your goal, take a few steps into our backyard and cast your line in our babbling brook, stocked with trout each spring.
Stoney Brook's accommodations are first-class. The house was built to be a bed and breakfast, with carefully designed features to assure our guests' comfort. Each room is unique but all share comfortable beds, private baths, and relaxing views. Central air conditioning and propane heating assure perfect comfort all year round.

During your visit, enjoy the guest-only areas of the inn. A signature Stoney Brook feature is a private gathering room offering books, magazines, and TV. It's a great place to get a quiet moment alone or engage in an interesting conversation with fellow guests.
Through French doors on the east side of the inn is an open deck area overlooking our meticulously groomed gardens. A stroll down the path leads to a bench in the midst of seasonal blooms.
Our striking, wide veranda is perfect for morning coffee, daytime relaxation, or some of the most beautiful sunsets in the area in the evening. While you enjoy a cool drink, you may catch a glimpse of the family of deer that regularly feed in Stoney Brook's fields.

Breakfast at Stoney Brook is a special treat. Served in our lovely dining room next to a fireplace, breakfast is a sit-down, fully-plated meal featuring old family recipes and favorite regional dishes. Count on us to start your day perfectly!
